The pleasant summer day passed by too quickly, not unlike any other pleasant summer day that ends far too soon, except this time the group sat indoors in a small dining room with a large bay window open, allowing the evening summer breeze to flow through. Isaac Newton shared his story of how he discovered gravity on that fateful day he found himself sitting beneath a tree and an apple fell, hitting him on the head.
“But Isaac,” I said, “how do you know someone didn’t throw that apple at your head?”
I learned an important lesson that day—that people can get rather testy when you challenge their personal narratives.
Which is precisely why I don’t like to do an author bio for what if you were to accuse me of just making things up? I would be rather annoyed with your impertinent questioning of my story. But, by not having an author bio, we can avoid all that unpleasantness.
You’re welcome.
